Absorbing Information
If you’re really serious about personal development, then you need to be able to absorb large amounts of information. We live in the information age and things are changing faster than ever before. So, if you’re going to keep up you need to have strategies that work.
The number one on-line strategy for exposing yourself to the newest information is setting up a blog reader account. With a blog reader (sometimes called a blog aggregator) the posts from all the blogs that you subscribe to will all be fed to one page. This allows you to maximize your time because you don’t need to visit all the blogs, you just scroll down through all the posts.
Two of the top readers are Google Reader and Bloglines. I use Google Reader and can’t recommend it highly enough, it is much faster than bookmarks. So, go set up an account today and play around with it. You can start by subscribing to this blog.
